Agreement in principle between MRC Pontiac and public sector union

The union representing employees at MRC Pontiac (the Syndicat de la fonction publique et parapublique du Québec or SFPQ) has announced that they reached an agreement in principle with the MRC on October 13. The employees will be voting on this agreement today (October 27) at 4 p.m. During the negotiations, issues such as remote work and salary increases were the primary points of contention.
