CHIP 101.9 launching Chase the Ace
Pontiac’s Community Radio, CHIP 101.9 is pleased to announce the launch of our new community fundraising activity, Chase the Ace. After working on the project for more than one year, our team will officially launch at CHIP 101.9’s annual barbeque, taking place at the station (138 rue Principale, Fort-Coulonge) on Thursday September 26, starting at noon.
Each week, participants will purchase tickets, and the proceeds are divided in three: 50% to CHIP, 20% to a weekly prize and 30% to the jackpot. Each Thursday a ticket is drawn and if the ace is not selected, the ticket holder receives the weekly prize and the jackpot will continue to accumulate.
Station administrator Nathalie Denault explained that tickets would soon be available online or at the station.
To kick things off, CHIP has placed $5,000 in the initial pot. Station director Geneviève Gagnon explained that the funds raised by the lottery will be put towards upgrades to the station, and if all goes well, to funding community projects.

- 10 tickets . . . $20
- 40 tickets . . . $40
- 100 tickets . . . $60
- 200 tickets . . . $80
