CHIP 101.9 nominated for three awards from the ADISQ

The ADISQ, the non-profit organization representing the independent music industry in Quebec, has unveiled the nominations for its 2024 awards gala, and CHIP 101.9 is in the running for three. The awards recognize the work of radio stations and their employees between June 1 2023 and May 31 2024.

For the first time, CHIP 101.9 has been nominated for Community Radio Station of the Year – Regional Market, and former station director François Carrier has been nominated for Director of Programming of the Year – Regional Market. In addition, CHIP’s cultural host Marie Gionet received her fourth nomination in a row for Cultural Host or Columnist of the Year – Regional Market, having won in 2022 and 2023.

The Gala will take place at the Société des arts technologiques in Montreal on September 11.
