MRC Pontiac holding special meeting Wednesday on recycling collection

MRC Pontiac announced this morning that there will be a special sitting of council on Wednesday, August 14 at 1 p.m.

The sole item on the agenda is a resolution entitled: “By-Law concerning the declaration of jurisdiction by the MRC of Pontiac with respect to part of the management of residual materials for all municipalities on its territory (selective collection of certain recyclable materials).”

MRC council will return next week for their first regular monthly meeting following the holiday break on Wednesday, August 21 at 6:30 p.m.
