SADC Pontiac marks 39 years at annual general meeting

6 June 2024 à 4:04 pm

SADC Pontiac held their 39th annual general meeting at the Raymond Johnston Community Centre in Otter Lake on June 5. SADCs are federally funded non-profits that promote economic development in Quebec’s rural regions.

Director Rhonda Perry explained that this past year they have programs targeted to help businesses improve their digital presence, as well as for sustainable development initiatives.

The evening also marked the departure of Randy Labadie from the group’s board of directors after 11 years as a volunteer member, with Trefor Munn-Venn taking his place. Perry said that she will miss his professionalism and his sense of humour.

The full interview with Perry (3m15) is available here.
