Major water break in rue Mgr Pilon area of Mansfield

The Municipality of Mansfield-et-Pontefract issued a statement on May 21 advising the public that there had been a “major breakdown” at the water station serving the area of rue Mgr Pilon.

In a statement, the municipality asks that everyone in the area use as little water as possible and boil it before drinking.

“Our employees are currently working to restore the service as soon as possible,” the statement notes. “As a result of this work, we ask you to boil the water for at least three minutes before consuming it. This is until further notice.”
