Baby basket now available for Pontiac’s new mothers

New mothers in the Pontiac region will now have access to a baby basket full of essentials thanks to two local service groups teaming up.

Manon Gervais of Bouffe Pontiac explained that the new program is a collaboration with Les Amis du Pontiac, a local charity group. She said that they had been discussing the project since November 2023 and are now able to roll out the service to the community.

Gervais explained that the baskets include all kinds of things a newborn would need, from formula and bottles to bibs and pacifiers.
