New dates for overnight closures on Chenaux Bridge

Overnight closures on the interprovincial bridge near the Chenaux Generating Station in Portage-du-Fort will continue throughout August and September, according to a new list of dates that have been added to Ontario Power Generation’s website.

The bridge will be closed between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. on the following dates:

• July 17, 18, 19, 20
• August 8, 9, 10
• August 14, 15, 16, 17
• August 23, 24
• August 28, 29, 30
• Sept 5, 6
• Sept 11, 12, 13, 14
• Sept 18, 19, 20, 21
• Sept 25, 26, 27, 28

The site notes that these dates are subject to change and motorists should check the website frequently for an up-to-date list of closures.
