Two town halls next week discussing “Energy from Waste” project
MRC Pontiac Warden Jane Toller is hosting two town hall meetings next week to discuss the “Energy from Waste” project that she has been championing for years.
She explained that the meetings will give the public a chance to ask questions and discuss the merits of the project.
When asked about the progress that has been made on the file over the years, Toller pointed to her meetings with provincial officials, and said that they have private investors interested.
The meeting details are as follows:
– Monday June 19 at 7 p.m. – Shawville United Church (410, rue Main)
– Tuesday June 20 at 7 p.m. – Fort-Coulonge Knights of Columbus Hall (525 rue Baume)
