Disappointed with last minute changes; Jane Toller hopes to see Minister Laforest in the Pontiac soon
Although it had been planned for weeks, last Thursday (March 9), during the news conference in Bryson announcing new funds for revitalization projects in the MRC Pontiac, it was the CAQ MNA for Gatineau, Robert Bussière, who represented the CAQ government instead of the Minister of Municipal Affairs, Andrée Laforest. MRC Pontiac Warden Jane Toller did, however, speak to the minister before the conference expressing her hopes that she would make the trip to the MRC Pontiac in the coming months.
“She had to go to Chicoutimi, which is her … ward, where she lives. It was something very important. She had planned to take transportation that got cancelled, so we were not the only event that she needed to change her plan with. But she promised me that she will definitely look forward to coming to Pontiac.”
– Jane Toller, Prefect of the MRC Pontiac
