Mansfield-et-Pontefract resident was charged with impaired driving and had his driver’s license suspended for 90 days following an incident that occurred on January 7 in Ontario.

Police responded to the collision around 7 a.m. in Laurentian Valley Township. The vehicle involved did not stop at an intersection, left the roadway and came to rest in the ditch. No injuries were reported. As a result of this investigation, Marc-André Labine-Duval, 28, was charged with the following offences:

Impaired driving – Alcohol
Impaired Operation – Blood Alcohol Concentration 80mg+
Not stopping at a stop sign
Driving a motor vehicle without a license

Tuesday (January 24), Labine-Duval threatened CHIP 101.9 with legal action.

So, regarder à vos ostie d’affaires ”,  said the one who identifies himself as Duval-Labine over the phone.

The reaction is surprising, since the news has circulated widely in other media, such as MyFm, City News as well as CFRA, and has been for several days.

Labine-Duval had his driver’s license suspended for 90 days and his vehicle towed and impounded for seven days following this event. The accused was released to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on February 14.
