Naomie Lusignan nominated as National Female Athlete of the Year

Mansfield-et-Pontefract weightlifter Naomie Lusignan was nominated to the category of National Female Athlete of the Year at the Gala Excellence sportive Outaouais 2022. The announcement was made just hours after her older brother Xavier was nominated in the male category at the same gala. This past year, Naomie won the gold in the Canadian Junior Championships and made her international debut at the World Youth Weightlifting Championships in Mexico, and also competed at the Junior Pan American Championships in Peru.
