Narcotics seized in Mansfield

Two people were arrested Wednesday, October 12, following a Police search of a residence and vehicle linked to drug trafficking on chemin Grand-Marais in Mansfield-et-Pontefract.

This search was carried out by the MRC Pontiac Police and its investigative team as part of an investigation that started in May of this year.

During the search the police seized:

• More than 2g of cocaine

• More than $800 in Canadian currency

• Equipment intended for drug trafficking

The two individuals have been released and are expected to appear in court at a later date.
