Rainfall warning for Pontiac

Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for the Pontiac territory, as a total of 20 to 30 mm is expected, but could be as much as 40 mm in certain areas. The precipitation is expected to last until Thursday.

“Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible,” the statement reads. “Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.”
