Members of local leisure organization Ski Pontiac were pleased with the dump of snow that the region got earlier this week, as they are able to get their trails groomed for the enjoyment of the public. The group’s communications director Ariane Clouthier said that they have opened more than 10 km of trails around Pine Lodge in Bristol.

This year Ski Pontiac is offering weekly meetups at 10:30 on Wednesday mornings for those looking to go sliding with a group. As well, on Saturdays, through a partnership with Ski at School, they are able to offer free skis or snowshoes to use and some basic instructions, at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Registration is required, and the portal is available here.

In addition, the Moonlight Skis are returning this season. The first of the year is scheduled for January 29 and Clouthier explained that they will have a full day of activities lined up.
