Rosalee Gravelle has some new ideas for Bryson

1 November 2021 à 12:00 am

Rosalee Gravelle is taking a run at the mayor’s seat in the municipality of Bryson, saying that she hopes to bring a new perspective to the role. She is competing with two-term incumbent Alain Gagnon, who was elected by acclamation in 2017.

Gravelle has worked in several different fields, from maintenance to security, and currently works in the city for Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada. Born and raised in Charteris, she has been living in Bryson for the past three years. She said that what she likes the most about the community is how friendly the people are, adding that she would be consulting them on their vision for the village.

Gravelle said that the reason she chose to run for mayor was because she wants to see change in the community. Examples she gave included more initiatives like community gardening and composting.

Gravelle said that if elected, she would prioritize work on the town’s water system, as well as looking into the possibility of paving work to the village’s main street.

The full interview with Gravelle is available here.
