Special weather alert issued for Pontiac

Environment Canada issued a special weather alert for the Pontiac region this morning, warning of heavy rain over the next few days. The rain is supposed to intensify today (Wednesday September 22) and continue into Friday morning.

During this period between 70 and 100 mm of precipitation is expected. Localized flooding is possible in low-lying areas.
