Fort Coulonge Minor Hockey registration starts

Minor Hockey will be returning to the Fort Coulonge arena for another season. This year, parents are asked to register through an online portal. Payments can be made by cash, cheque or e-transfer, and can be made in one or two instalments.

One change for this year is that the Fort Coulonge teams will be playing in the Quebec league, instead of across the river. Given the greater travel distances, the games will only be played on weekends and will take place in Shawville, Maniwaki, Wakefield, Aylmer and Hull. Minor Hockey President Paul Boisvert said that he was looking at different possibilities for the away games, such as playing more than one in a day, but hadn’t been finalized.
