Power outage hits 2,700 Hydro Quebec customers in Pontiac

Nearly a quarter of Hydro Quebec customers in the MRC Pontiac, numbering 2,790, were without electricity this Friday afternoon, shortly after 1 p.m. The majority of the affected customers were in Fort Coulonge (725), l’Île-du-Grand-Calumet (564), Campbell’s Bay (402), Litchfield (310) and Bryson (280). Residents of Clarendon (32), Mansfield (187), Otter Lake (250) and Thorne (40) were also impacted by this outage. Power was restored to most customers by 2:40 p.m.
