Baume Street in Fort-Coulonge will soon welcome the offices of the SADC Pontiac, this was announced yesterday by their general manager Rhonda Perry, during the annual general meeting of this organization dedicated to economic development.

After several analyzes and studies, we made the decision to move to the heart of the village of Fort-Coulonge. We have been studying the various possibilities since 2019 and the building of the former Laurentian Bank, in the heart of the village, met our criteria. In addition, we will be able to participate in the revitalization of this village »

The SADC, whose offices are currently located on Route 148 in Campbell’s Bay, should be installed in their new offices in August.

During the AGM of the SADC Pontiac, the most recent year for the organization, described as a record by their executive director, was discussed, given the investments of the federal government and the needs of businesses during the pandemic.

The pandemic has required several investments from the federal government and we had to make sure we meet very short deadlines to come and support our local businesses and organizations
