The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais claimed that a record was observed Wednesday (April 21) in the Outaouais as part of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign. Almost 5,000 people have received their vaccine.

“This is excellent news for the Outaouais. In a single day, 12,239 appointments were made. We still have places available for those 45 and over with the AstraZenaca vaccine. We invite target groups to come and get vaccinated. Our teams are waiting for you in large numbers, ”said the communications department of the CISSS de l’Outaouais.

Also, as mentioned by the Minister of Health and Social Services, Christian Dubé, Quebec has allowed the expansion of vaccination for people with chronic diseases and who are under 60 years old will be able, as of today (23 April), make an appointment at a vaccination center or pharmacy by going to Québec.ca/vaccinCOVID. This expansion will make it possible to offer the vaccine, over the coming weeks, to approximately 300,000 additional people with chronic diseases under the age of 60.

Note also that from April 28, anyone with a motor, intellectual, speech or language, visual, auditory or associated with other senses, or linked to an autism spectrum disorder will be able to also obtain an appointment on the page Québec.ca/vaccinCOVID.
