The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais confirms that the AstraZeneca’s vaccine is now available to people between the ages of 45 and 79, whereas it was previously reserved for people between the ages of 55 and 79. This availability will be effective tomorrow (April 21) at all the vaccination sites in the region.

Starting tomorrow, people of 45 years and older can be vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine at all vaccination sites in the region, included site in Campbell’s Bay, by making an appointment via Québec.ca/vaccinCOVID. For the Palais des Congrès, the walk-in option is also available. The targeted population can come as early as 8 a.m. to the walk-in clinic located at the Palais des Congrès to be vaccinated during the day (8 a.m. to 7 p.m.).

As a reminder, people who are not part of the priority group being vaccinated should avoid calling, using the online appointment platform, or coming in person to be vaccinated.
