The Western Quebec Literacy Council (WQLC) recently issued its Newsletter for the month of September in which a notable transition to online services is highlight for the councils fall programming. According to the executive director, Michele Gagnon, the change was already in the WQLC plans, though moved to the forefront due to the Pandemic.

Starting in the month of October, the WQLC will be offering online literacy learning – Connect 2 learn – for the residents of the Outaouais region.

Gagnon added that with the new regional status of the Outaouais, the other pre-scheduled events across the territory of the MRC Pontiac are currently on standby in accordance with Public Health directives. However, Michele Gagnon believe that the first Smart Art workshop will still be held in Campbell’s Bay on October 10.
