The citizens of l’Île-du-Grand-Calumet are invited to submit their questions to the council

Some municipalities across the Pontiac, such as Île-du-Grand Calumet, have invited residents to submit their questions for the next council meeting which should take place on June 8th.

The municipality indicated that the question must meet the bylaws and standards on the question period of municipal meetings, the council requests short questions, which do not lead to an open debate, comprising of a brief scenario and that the question can contain a sub question.

Questions were also answered during the most recent meeting which took place on May 21st.

Note that their most recent meeting, the Mayor was still absent on sick leave. Remember that the Mayor had to issue a press release to respond to citizens’ concerns following the incident alleged by councilor Réjean Meilleur, until now no explanation has been provided by the municipality or by the mayor.
