L’Île-du-Grand-Calumet changes its taxe payment deadlines

Due to the current health crisis, the council of the municipality of L’Île-du-Grand-Calumet will make the following decision at its next ordinary meeting concerning the payment of property taxes.

The deadlines will now be:
Payment 1: June 15, 2020
Payment 2: August 15, 2020
Payment 3: October 15, 2020
Payment 4: December 15, 2020

The municipality is still encouraging their taxpayers who can afford it to pay their municipal taxes on time, as initially scheduled, if they have the capacity. “We remind you that citizens can pay their taxes by sending check by post or in the postal box at the municipal office. You can also pay by online payment or by phone with your financial institution.”

For taxpayers who have already sent post-dated checks, if you wish to change the payment dates, you must contact the municipality by phone (819) 648-5965 or by email admin@lidgc.ca. Otherwise, all checks will be cashed on the dates entered.
