The group received a response from the PPJ Committee member and Mayor of Fort-Coulonge, Gaston Allard:

Lynne Lavery, representing the group Les Ami(e)s du Cycloparc PPJ, said she was frustrated with the process of the MRC Pontiac’s PPJ Committee, though encouraged by the news of the installation of bicycle repair stations along the cycloparc, as explained by Mayor of Rapides-des-Joachims, Jim Gibson during the MRC meeting, this Wednesday.

A sum of around $3, 000 would be provided to repair and install three bicycle repair stations in strategic areas of the PPJ trail.
