Otter Lake will study the possibility of installing a municipal Splash Pad

The Otter Lake municipal Council held a public consultation Monday, where it was decided to postpone the request for funding a splash pad project within the municipality until the file is set in motion.

During this extraordinary meeting in Otter Lake, an approximate plan was given to the public which showed the intended location, covering an area of approximately 1,000 square feet, near the children’s park and baseball field. The draft will only be finalized following studies of the soil and property, as explained by Cartier-Villeneuve.

The mayor Cartier-Villeneuve also indicated that the municipality received three bids from contractors for the project, which she estimates to be around $ 100,000.

The municipal council is encouraging its residents to come together to organize fundraising activities for this project.
