Appointment of France Dumont as Deputy CEO of CISSS de l’Outaouais

The ministre de la Santé et des Services sociaux du Québec, Danielle McCann recently announced the appointment of France Dumont as Deputy President-CEO (PDGA) of the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais.

Dumont will officially take office on February 10, 2020, for a two years period.

“Strengthened by her long career in the health sector, both on the clinical and administrative side, and in particular in nursing, France Dumont has a deep knowledge of the real issues in the hospitals, as well as an extensive resume in managing the network. For that reason, I am convinced that she is an undeniable asset for the CISSS de l’Outaouais, where as the CISSS will draw on her expertise and all the leadership skills necessary to support the organization well, for the benefit of the people in the region.” Said Minister McCann.

France Dumont holds a college diploma in nursing (technique infirmière), a bachelor’s degree in business administration (administration des affaires) from the University of Quebec in Montreal and a master’s degree in health services administration (administration des services de santé) from the University of Montreal. Dumont has clinical and management experience in the health and social services sector. After 11 years in the Cité de la santé de Laval team, from 1979 to 1990, she worked for several years for health departments as a Company consultant for such companies as CGO inc. and CGI inc., before obtaining the position of assistant general manager for the santé physique, enseignement et recherche du Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux des Laurentides in 2012.

In 2015, she became Deputy Director General directrice générale adjointe santé physique, enseignement et recherche du Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux des Laurentides, then in 2016, Deputy Director of Direction des services hospitaliers du ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (currently occupation).
