Annual Bouffe Pontiac Food Drive; Tomorrow

The annual Bouffe Pontiac Food Drive will take place tomorrow, at three locations throughout the MRC Pontiac. Volunteers and partners of Bouffe Pontiac will collect donations from drivers in the area. From Bouffe Pontiac, Kim Laroche, gave more details about the Food Drive.

From 6:00 am to 9:00 am, volunteers will collect donations at the intersection of Route 148 and Route 301 North in Campbell’s Bay and at the intersection of highway 148 and Pembroke Road, in the municipality of Isle-aux-Allumettes.

From 6:30 am to 9:00 am, they will be the intersection of Main Street and Center and the intersection of Main and Clarendon Streets in Shawville.

Bouffe Pontiac is extending their thanks for the donations. People can also donate via their Facebook page. Bouffe Pontiac is asking drivers at these intersections to give generously, but also, and especially, to drive with caution to ensure the safety of the volunteers and everyone at these intersections.

In 2018, Bouffe Pontiac raised $8,850 and 335 kilograms of food during the food drive.
