New Concept for the Regional Pool Project

The Regional Pontiac Pool Committee decided to revisit its concept for the envisioned project. Now, it would be not only a pool but a fitness and spa Center.

In yesterday press release, it was mentioned that after consulting residents on their needs and reviewing the most efficient and cost-effective facilities in the country, the committee selected the new concept. There will be a survey carried out by telephone on November 25th for this purpose. The committee is asking Pontiac residents to take 5 minutes to answer the questions if they receive a call.

The new center would include a large water slide and a play pool, similar to the Gatineau facility. In addition, the committee would also like to see the installation of:
– 4 corridors, 25 meters long pool
– Aqua fitness therapy pool / swimming lessons
– A 15 persons spa
– A two-level gym with state-of-the-art exercise equipment and lower level exercise room for group classes
– Changing rooms / showers and saunas
– Public meeting room
