New pricing for vacation lots leases

6 November 2019 à 12:00 am

Beginning in January of 2020, the Government of Québec will introduce adjustments to the value of the leases or rent of vacation lots. The spokesperson of the ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles, Catherine Ippersiel, gave details on the changes.

In the Outaouais, out of 1820 vacation leases, the Pontiac region holds the majority with 1161, as recorded during the latest count made in September. The information provided by the ministry indicates that, in some regions, the increase would have been estimated to be between $200 and $300 per lease. The new adjustment in vacation lot rent is expected to be around $10 in 2020.
