Representatives react to Outaouais’ meeting with Secretariat responsible for relations with English speaking communities

Some of the representatives of the English-Speaking Community in the Outaouais, present during the meeting on Friday with Christopher Skeete, the MNA for Sainte-Rose and Parliamentary Assistant to the premier for relations with English speaking Quebecers, gave CHIP 101.9 their impressions of the Outaouais meeting. The Executive director of the Regional Association of West Quebecers (RAWQ), Linton Garner, said that he is hoping that this meeting will help build a closer relationship with the CAQ government.

For the Western Quebec Literacy council (WQLC), their focus was on funding. The Executive Director; Michele Gagnon, said that they hope that their requests were heard:

The follow up to these consultations with the representatives of English-Speaking Quebecers in the Outaouais, under the name of Building Bridges Tour, will come in the next months.
