My Family’s Closet – Winter Clothing Drive and Distribution
(SHAWVILLE October 24, 2019) – The new area Parish of Renfrew-Pontiac (Anglican) is holding our 2nd annual winter clothing drive for those in need of warm clothing in our area. We encourage the people of Renfrew and area, the northern Pontiac, Shawville and Clarendon to take part.
This is a two part event that will include:
• Collection of winter clothing for the whole family (everything a family will need for winter (except underwear) from October 12-31st. See below for drop off locations.
We are encouraging people to donate clean gently used items of winter clothing (sweaters, pants, mitts, scarves, boots, coats, jackets etc.) to the drive to help those in our communities that will need help keeping warm this winter.
Drop off locations:
Shawville: Stedmans V & S, 375 ch Main;
137 Rectory Road (porch drop);
• Pop Up Shop: My Family’s Closet is an event where people can come to shop for free from the items donated.
November 2nd Shawville 10:30 am – 2:00 pm St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Main St

My Family’s Closet – collecte de vêtements d’hiver pour les personnes qui ont besoin de vêtements chauds dans notre région.
Cet événement en deux parties comprendra:
• Collection de vêtements d’hiver pour toute la famille (tout ce dont une famille aura besoin pour l’hiver (à l’exception des sous-vêtements) du 12 au 31 octobre.
Nous encourageons les gens à donner des vêtements d’hiver légèrement usés (pulls, pantalons, mitaines, foulards, bottes, manteaux, vestes, etc.) à la campagne pour aider les habitants de nos communautés qui auront besoin d’aide pour rester au chaud cet hiver.

• Pop Up Shop: My Family’s Closet est un événement où les gens peuvent venir faire des achats gratuitement à partir des articles offerts.
