Canadian Nuclear Laboratories: An English children’s short magazine sent to Francophone families in the Pontiac

Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) recently sent a children’s short magazine, in English only, to certain Francophone families in the Pontiac, entitled Summer 2019 Contact Kids, while some Anglophone families received French versions of the activity booklet. The guide itself consists of games and other entertainment, all while promoting a career in this federal institution.

Through this gesture, the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories does not respect Quebec regulations under the Charte de la Langue française.
