“It’s easier to be here” – Alicia Jones Director General of l’Isle-aux-Allumettes and victim of 2019 spring flood

In the Municipality of l’Isle-aux-Allumettes remains in high alert as a result of the announcement of a potential second wave of floods for the Ottawa River according to the Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board. In an interview with CHIP 101.9, the Director General of the municipality, Alicia Jones, along with being a victim of the disaster in the municipality of Waltham, explained the challenges she has had to face in the last two weeks.
