Complaint to l’Office de la Langue Francaise against the MRC Pontiac

According to l’Office de la Langue Francaise, a complaint was made against the MRC Pontiac for displaying a commemorative monument in English only of the first MRC meeting held 170 years ago. After revealing the interpretation panel back in December of 2017, the MRC promised to have the plaque changed to display a description in French as well. Today, there still has not been any changes made to the plaque, and remains in English only.
