Ontario forest fire: the impact at Rapides-des-Joachims

The recent forest fires in Ontario have hit close to home, more precisely in the region of Rapide-des-Joachims where the smoke has produced smells and negative repercussions to the population. The wind seems to be one of the determined factors. Sylvain Bégin, General Director for Rapide-des-Joachims says the situation is always under supervision but the state of alert is not as high as on Tuesday:

Today the municipality has indicated that the air is breathable but still unpleasant to smell.
