The Minister of Transport and MNA for Pontiac André Fortin made an announcement this weekend during a tractor event held in Quyon. The Municipality of Pontiac is set to receive two investments: $ 83,000 to replace the aging lighting system at the baseball field at the Luskville Park and to move other equipment to this park. The other investment of more than $ 56,000 is for the Quyon Recreation Park. The Mayor of the Municipality of Pontiac Joanne Labadie explains:

Also, the municipality of Cambpell’s Bay is receiving more than $ 27,000 to improve the lighting of their multi use sport park. Councillor Lois Smith is pleased with the news:

According to André Fortin, this type of investment can help to attract families to the Pontiac.

These projects are part of the $ 158 million investment across Quebec for construction, renovation and upgrading sports and recreational facilities projects.
