Provincial elections; Only 3 out of 6 candidates for the Pontiac
In view of the October 1 provincial election, only three political parties officially announced their candidates in the Pontiac. The Liberal Party incumbent MNA and Minister of Transportation André Fortin was the first to make his run official. The Green Party has already announced the candidacy of Roger Fleury and the Samuel Gendron will run for the NPDQ. The Coalition Avenir Québec, the Parti Québécois and Québec Solidaire have not announced their candidates for the riding of Pontiac.
