Federal support for seniors in Bryson
Pontiac MP William Amos announced last Friday, on behalf of Canada’s Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, Jean-Yves Duclos, that the Bryson Golden years Club will receive $ 8 643 in funding under the New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP). With this funding, the organization will purchase tables, chairs, electronics, bingo equipment, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker to continue to offer activities for seniors such as games nights, exercise and social gatherings.
William Amos said that The Government of Canada is committed to ensuring that Canadian seniors have more opportunities to participate in community-based activities that meet their needs and interests in their communities. That contribute to their collective experiences.
