Activities in the MRC to celebrate Christmas

As the holiday season is pretty much here, many Christmas activities have been organized. Here is what’s coming up in the next few days.

Tomorrow, Santa Claus will be visiting the Festival of Lights at Chutes Coulonge Park between 4pm and 10pm. Visitors will also be able to hike on the illuminated walking trails of the park. This is the last activity organized as part of the Festival des Lumières.


The Pontiac Catholic Parishes invite residents of the region to take part in the holiday celebrations at one of the Pontiac’s many Catholic churches for Christmas Masses.

– At St. John the Evangelist Church in Campbell’s Bay on Sunday, December 24 at 7 pm December 25, at the Manoir St-Joseph at 9am.
– At Waltham Church, December 24 at 7 pm and December 31 at 7 pm
– At Ste. Anne Church on Grand-Calumet Island on December 24th at 9pm.
– At St. Elizabeth Church in Vinton on December 24 at 7 pm and December 31 at 5 pm
– At St. James Church in Portage-du-Fort on December 24 at 10 pm and January 1 at 11 am.
– At St-Pierre parish in Fort-Coulonge, December 24 at 8 pm and 11 pm, December 25 at 10:30 am and January 1st at 10:30 am.
– At St. Charles Borromee Church in Otter Lake on December 24 at 5 pm and December 25 at 10:45 am.
– And at the parish of the Immaculate Conception in Bryson, December 24 at 5 pm and December 31 at 5 pm.
