Training tour for newly elected
The Union of Quebec Municipalities (UMQ) will undertake, starting in mid-November, training for newly elected municipal officials. The Outaouais training will take place on January 12 and 13, 2018 in Gatineau. UMQ spokesperson Patrick Lemieux explains that the training will bring everyone to the same level of understanding in running a municipality.
The aim is to familiarize newly elected officials with their function in their political, administrative and legal role.
