Linda Davis is the fifth candidate for Warden
A fifth candidate for warden of the Pontiac MRC has come forward. Linda Davis, a resident of Clarendon, who is also a member of the Ottawa Regional Council of the City of Ottawa. CHIP contacted her yesterday by phone. Mrs. Davis believes that her experience makes her a very good candidate to be the first to hold this position as elected by universal suffrage. Among her achievements, she mentioned among other things her involvement in setting up the O train.
She joins Charlotte L’Écuyer, Raymond Durocher, Pierre Fréchette, and Jane Toller.
A forum between candidates for this position organized by the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce will take place on October 10th at the Campbell’s Bay recreation center.
