Students from l’école L’EnvoléeTravel to the National Capital
Last Friday, (June 9), the students of the classes of Mr. Gaston and Mme. Mélanie (4th-5th and 6th grade) of the l’école L’Envolée visited the national capital region. The day began with bowling at Salle Anik. They then enjoyed a good meal at the Scores and headed for the Rapides-Farmer hydro-electric generating station. The last stop was Parliament in Ottawa where they were welcomed by our MP William Amos who spoke a few minutes to the students to explain his role in parliament. On the same day, the Ottawa Red Blacks were also on the Hill. The students were able to take pictures and get autographs from the team.
