Culture in the Outaouais: a new call for projects for artists and organizations

Culture in the Outaouais: a new call for projects for artists and organizations

20 October 2026 à 1:44 pm

Artists and cultural organizations from the Outaouais are invited to submit their projects under the third call for proposals of the 2024-2027 Territorial Partnership Agreement with the Outaouais community.

The initiative is being launched by the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, the Ministère des Affaires municipales et de l’Habitation, the Collines-de-l’Outaouais, Papineau, Pontiac and La Vallée-de-la-Gatineau RCMs, as well as the City of Gatineau, in collaboration with Culture Outaouais.

The program aims to stimulate artistic creation, promote professional artists and writers, and support the development of arts organizations in the region. It also encourages projects that integrate digital technologies, sustainable practices and community partnerships.

Professional artists and writers, as well as eligible arts organizations, must submit their application to the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec by January 14th, 2027.

In order to support interested parties, Culture Outaouais will organize three information sessions. Artists will be able to participate on November 2nd, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., while representatives of arts organizations will be welcomed the same day, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. A session in English is also scheduled for November 4th, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Culture Outaouais also offers support to artists, professional writers and organizations who wish to prepare a funding application.

Interested persons may obtain information on programs, eligibility criteria and forms from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and Culture Outaouais.

For assistance with grant applications, please contact Scott Simpson, Member Advisor at 819-595-2601 ext. 229 or email membres@cultureoutaouais.org.

Details of the program and how to register for information sessions are available from Culture Outaouais.
