À GO, on lit! launches “Find Yours” campaign to inspire young people to read

15 October 2026 à 11:45 am

À GO, on lit! (AGOL) is launching its new awareness campaign, entitled “Find Yours”, to encourage young people aged 12 to 20 to discover reading material that suits their interests. For this 9th edition, the movement has four ambassadors: Kevin Raphaël, Claudie Mercier, Ariane Brunet and Justin Morissette.

The campaign will run primarily from October 14th to November 30th, but activities and resources will also be offered throughout the year to keep youth engaged and support accompanying adults.

The objective is simple: to demonstrate that there is a reading for each interest. Whether it’s sports, humour, suspense, comics or real-life stories, young people are invited to use what they already like to find books that will captivate them.

The interactive quiz of À GO, on lit! , which has been produced more than 500,000 times, allows participants to discover their reader profile and get suggestions tailored to their tastes, including works by authors from Quebec.

The four ambassadors will help raise awareness of the movement through clips on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. With humour and authenticity, they will share their literary preferences and sometimes unknown aspects of their personality to pique the curiosity of young people.

Beyond the fall campaign, À GO, on lit! wishes to strengthen its support for mentors, teachers, librarians and youth workers. Free resources will enable them to support young people in their literary discoveries throughout the year.

The regional coordinating bodies and local partners will also participate in rolling out the campaign to schools, libraries and youth organizations in Quebec.

The campaign also has a new feature, the “Share Yours” contest, which offers two ways to get involved.

Young people aged 14 to 20 will be able to share their reading desires and have a chance to win a VIP experience at the Salon du livre de Montréal, including access to the Salon, literary discoveries and a meeting with ambassadors of À GO, on lit! E-readers and other prizes will also be available to win.

The third cycle of primary and secondary school classes will be able to participate in a bid to win a meeting with an ambassador, an À GO workshop, we read! and a selection of about 30 books.

The quiz, reading suggestions, mentor tools and contest details are available on agol.ca.

Since 2018, À GO, on lit! encourages the pleasure of reading among young Quebecers aged 12 to 20 by focusing on youth culture, literary discovery and the mobilization of accompanying adults. The movement receives financial support from the ministère de l’Éducation du Québec and the Secrétariat à la jeunesse.
