REMINDER FOR MOOSE HUNTERS
REMINDER FOR MOOSE HUNTERS
Moose hunters must adapt to new regulations for the 2026 season.
The Government of Quebec reminds hunters that changes took effect this fall, particularly regarding the antlerless moose hunting permit—also known as the OSB permit—as well as the rules governing the sharing of this permit.
Before heading into the woods, hunters are therefore encouraged to familiarize themselves with the new rules to fully understand the conditions that apply to their situation.
Official information from the Quebec government details the new regulations for moose hunting in 2026, as well as the rules regarding the OSB permit and its sharing.
An important reminder as the hunting season is in full swing: make sure you have the correct permits, know the applicable rules, and comply with current regulations.
And above all, stay safe in the woods! Have a great hunting season, all moose hunters!
