The Maison des jeunes of Pontiac is officially launching its fall 2026 program with a series of sports, recreational, and cultural activities for young people in the region.

This season, the organization is offering a range of initiatives designed to foster community and well-being among 6- to 17-year-olds. Among the program’s highlights is a ball hockey workshop scheduled for Monday, October 19th, at St. Johns School, followed by weekly Zumba sessions every Friday of the month at the Shawville Maison des jeunes.

Outings are also being organized to allow teenagers to explore the region and participate in group activities. On October 5th, an outdoor day is planned at Hugli’s Blueberry Farm, followed by a day combining a movie and bowling on Thursday, October 15th. In November, young people will also be able to attend a hockey game between the Gatineau Olympiques and the Victoriaville Tigres.

To make these activities more accessible to all communities in the Pontiac region, a transportation service is provided for these outings, departing from several municipalities, including Mansfield, Campbell’s Bay, Bryson, Shawville, and Chapeau.

The program staff reminds everyone that registration is required for all activities due to limited space. Interested families can view the details and register online via the Qidigo platform or by contacting the Mansfield Maison des jeunes directly at 819-683-1044.
