MP for Pontiac-Kitigan-Zibi hosts roundtable on developing a regional food hub

Sophie Chatel will host a roundtable later this month to discuss the potential development of a regional food hub in the Outaouais.

Chatel, who serves as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, will bring together stakeholders from the agri-food and food security sectors.

The discussion will focus on identifying the sector’s needs and priorities, as well as potential projects and initiatives that could be incorporated into a regional food hub. Participants will also explore opportunities for collaboration to move the initiative forward.

The roundtable is scheduled for Monday, September 28th, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at L’Agora, located at 35 Allée de Hambourg in Gatineau.

The discussion will be held under the Chatham House Rule, meaning information shared during the roundtable may be used, but the identity or affiliation of those making comments cannot be revealed.
