A call to the community to preserve our forest heritage

For the Harvest and Heritage Festival, taking place on September 26th, organizers are planning a small temporary museum dedicated to the history of forestry and logging in the region.

The goal is to allow visitors to discover tools and objects once used by forestry workers and to introduce new generations to an important part of local heritage.

Organizers are particularly interested in old forestry tools, woodworking tools, logging equipment, and any objects, accessories, or memorabilia from that era.

Anyone who owns such items and would be willing to lend them for the day is invited to contact Jennifer Quaile at 613-229-2172 or jenquaile@bell.net.

Organizers also encourage residents to share this information with anyone who may have items that could enrich this exhibit.
